Easter concludes with a $750K colt

Willow Park presented a stellar group of horses at the 2021 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale, led by the Snitzel x Exclusive Lass colt, who sold to Tony Fung Investments for $750,000.

 

Bred by valued client, Fergus Doyle, the colt with a walk like a panther was the second foal of stakes winning Nicconi mare, Exclusive Lass. James Harron Bloodstock purchased the mare on behalf of Fergus out of our 2018 Magic Millions Broodmare Sale draft, for $460,000. That purchase has rewarded the team in spades, with her first foal reaching $600,000 at the 2020 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale. 

 

Our second top lot at Easter was the half sister to Champion Sprinter, Santa Ana Lane. The filly by Zoustar sold to Malua Racing for $500,000. Bred by another wonderful long term client in Bromfield Park, her dam was purchased out of the 2020 Inglis Chairman’s Sale for $800,000 and has a weanling colt by I Am Invincible to follow.

 

Overall, we sold eight of nine yearlings offered, for an average of $288,125. We’re incredibly proud of how the draft were presented by our super team of staff and look forward to these horses hitting the racetrack in the future.
