New stakes winner for Willow Park

Upcoming sprinter, Bella Vella, became Willow Park's latest stakes winner on the weekend. After taking out the 55 second challenge last start, the 5yo Commands mare stepped up to stakes company with ease at Morphettville, leading all the way to win the Listed Furphy Stakes by 1.7L for Morphettville trainer, Will Clarken.

 

Foaled at Willow Park and sold through our 2016 Magic Millions Yearling Sale draft, she made $100,000 to the bid of Paul Moroney. She has now won eight from 27, with a further eight placings and over $379,000. Bella Vella is the first living foal of imported mare Forget The Weather, a two time winner in the USA. Having won both starts this time in, we look forward to watching her continue to step up in grade!
