Pinstriped scores Group 2

Pinstriped became the latest Willow Park born millionaire on Saturday, with a brilliant win in the Group 2 Feehan Stakes (1600m) at Moonee Valley tipping his earnings over $1.1million.

 

The Feehan Stakes win, the sixth win from 17 starts for the five-year-old gelding, gained Pinstriped a golden ticket into the Gr1 Cox Plate (2040m) in seven weeks. While he is yet to be tested over the Cox Plate distance, the Enver Jusufovic trained gelding is unbeaten in two starts on the Moonee Valley track.

 

Foaled at Willow Park for Noorilim Park in 2018, Pinstriped is by Darley shuttler Street Boss (USA) out of winning mare Snitzel Blitz (Snitzel), who foaled a colt by Capitalist at WP last season.

 

Enver Jusufovic revealed connections had recently knocked back a significant offer from Hong Kong for the gelding, here's hoping they are rewarded with a good result in the big one!
