Gr3 winner for Miss Loren

01 Sep 2025

A rising star on the Sydney racing scene, Darby Racing’s Raging Force claimed his first stakes victory in Saturday’s Group 3 San Domenico Stakes at Rosehill.

The three-year-old gelding is creating quite the picket fence, with four straight wins from five starts. Stepping up to Gr3 level for this first time since his debut as a two-year-old, he put pay a hot field that included the Gr2 winners Beiwacht and Rivellino.

Raging Force is the fourth stakes winner for Newgate Farm sire Cosmic Force and the second stakes winner of the new season produced by a Willow Park-sold broodmare.

He is the fourth foal of Miss Loren (Stryker), a winning mare who was third on debut as a juvenile in the Listed Debutant Stakes.

Miss Loren was sold by Willow Park at the 2018 Magic Millions Broodmare Sale, where she realised $75,000 carrying her first foal by Vancouver, selling to Kingstar Farm.

After producing two foals for Kingstar, she was then sold to Mullaglass Stud at the 2020 Inglis Australian Broodmare Sale.

It was Mullaglass who sent Miss Loren to Cosmic Force, a cracking yearling who brought $150,000 at the Inglis Classic Sale.

Raging Force joins Gr3 winner Jimmy Recard (I Am Invincible) as new season stakes winners from Willow Park-sold broodmares, both of whom have very exciting futures!
