Graffitude scores Eagle Farm win

Willow Park graduate Graffitude stepped out at city level for the first time on Saturday, with a good win at Eagle Farm for local trainer Tony Gollan.

 

Having just his second start, his first for the Gollan stable, Graffitude jumped well from the inside alley, settling on the rail behind the leaders, angling out before the turn and taking the lead 250m from home. Despite racing greenly and drifting out in the straight, he coasted home for a 1.5L win under leading Queensland rider Angela Jones.

 

The three-year-old son of Graff is raced by a large group of owners that includes a MiRunners syndicate and leading owner Neil Werrett, for whom Graff ran fifth in The Everest back in 2018. 

 

Foaled and raised at Willow Park for his breeders Tiree Holdings, Graffitude is the second foal of well-related mare Correlate (Not A Single Doubt), herself a daughter of dual Gr1 winner Hollow Bullet (Tayasu Tsuyoshi).

 

A much-admired yearling, he was sold to Mick Malone Bloodstock for $90,000 at the 2025 Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale.

 

Graffitude is the first runner and first winner for his dam, who is due to foal to Capitalist in the near future. Correlate has a Capitalist filly bound for the 2027 yearling sales and a two-year-old filly by the same sire in the Snowden Racing stable.
